A Dashboard widget for tracking the latest iPod Hacks news and info.

The iPod Hacks News Widget is a simple Dashboard widget that periodically fetches the latest headlines as well as the most recently reported file downloads and presents them in an easy-to-read format that keeps you in-the-know at a glance. Clicking on any of the headlines will bring up the full story in a browser window. The widget will also alert you when a new version has been released and it wants to be updated.

To install: If you are in Safari, simply clicking on the link to the left will download, unzip, and install the widget in its proper location of "Library/Widgets/" in your home folder. For all other browsers, click the download link to the left, then double-click the .zip file on your machine to unpack the widget and then copy the unpacked "iPod Hacks.wdgt" file to the Library/Widgets/ folder in your OS X home directory. Now activate Dashboard, click the plus ('+') symbol at the bottom left, and then choose the iPod Hacks widget from the tray at the bottom. Voila! You're in business.
