As MacFixIt reports many users have had problems with their iPod after installing the recent iPod 2004-04-28 updater. Some users report a "dead" iPod that is apparently completely unresponsive after the update has completed, while others indicate that the update fails mid-way through the update process, leaving the user holding a brain-dead unit.
