Apple Investigates iPod Mini Static Problem 2004-04-14 09:22:05 After hearing multiple reports of static interfereing with song playback on the iPod mini, Apple is now investigating the issue. The AP newswire quotes an Apple spokeswoman as saying, "Apple is aware of a few isolated reports online of iPod mini audio static and is looking into it," and urging those seeing such problems to report the issue to Apple's technical support group. We have been following one of our forum members who dissected his mini in an attempt to locate the problem (and he may well have found it).
