New iPods Imminent? 80% Discounts On Current iPods

There's been rumor upon rumors regarding a forthcoming widescreen Video iPod, metallic iPod nano, etc. But could these units be imminent?
APC Magazine repots that certain major iPod retailers are heavily discounting current iPod models, a move that may betoken new iPod releases in the immediate future. For example, Apple retailer Next Byte has distributed newsletters offering up to 80% off of its entire iPod line, this Saturday only.
The 5G iPod came in October last year. Many feel the ultimate iPod is just weeks from introduction. Stay tuned....
