Complete IRS Tax Code Podcast Project
2006-04-10 10:02:30

As April 15th draws near, many a mind has been forcefully focused on calculating yearly taxes. Fun stuff, to be sure, but you know what would make it even more fun? Obviously, that would be the complete Internal Revenue Tax Code on a podcast.

That's right. As reported by the TaxProf Blog, tax professor Jack Bogdanski has begun an effort to make the entire Internal Revenue Code available as a podcast. As another site put it, this is what they listen to in Hell on their iPods. As Jack explains:
"I'm all about public service, and I could not think of a more worthy internet project than to record a reading of the Internal Revenue Code for those who love to download mp3's and play them back on their iPods. You've heard of books on tape? How about tax law coming through those earbuds? Let's kick it with Title 26, people!"
Just remember, prolonged listening at maximum volume may have hearing implications.
