Linux on the iPod 2003-02-04 07:14:16 Well it was only a matter of time... Take a look at http://ipodlinux.sourceforge.net/ -- "Linux on iPod" (complete with screenshots). It seems that uClinux (the microcontroller Linux project) has been minimally ported to the iPod. Very impressive work that could lead in a number of directions that take the iPod's functionality out beyond what Apple ever intended to do with the unit.
