David Bowie / Arcade Fire iTMS Collaboration 2005-11-22 19:53:20 David Bowie and the band Arcade Fire are collaborating on a special 3-song album [iTMS link], the proceeds of which are going to hurricane Katrina relief efforts. The album contains 3 live song recordings taken from the Fashion Rocks 2005 show in New York City which took place on September 8th of this year: Life on Mars?, Wake Up, and Five Years. We encourage any fan of either artist to grab the album and, in doing, send a few dollars to the uprooted victims of Katrina. (We grabbed our copy, and would have even if we weren't die hard, life long Bowie nuts.) Life on Mars? is from from Bowie's album Hunky Dory, and Five Years is from The Rise and Falls of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
